Patch Notes

proQueue v0.5 | Welcome to the Beta

It's been a long time coming. Sarah and I have put so much work in to get to this point, from direct user interviews, building a proper foundation for our vision, all the long hours building and creating, and even the in-person events. It's been amazing to hear from each and every one of you whether it was through our interest form, Discord calls, or in-person.

proQueue is designed from the ground up with every single one of you in mind. We truly want to build something that helps players, creatives, staff, and owners connect and find one another. In our perfect world, proQueue helps facilitate more amateur and semi-professional teams, organizations, and tournaments, creating an overall larger funnel for pro-track.

Below you can read our first official "patch notes". These are the core features we decided to work on, how we came to decisions about how things should work, and what's next.

We welcome any and all feedback, everywhere, all the time. You should see the button floating to give feedback seamlessly (drop-down menu on mobile). This button is not just for the beta - feedback is the only reason we've been able to build anything at all. It's how we intend to continue making things better.

Thank you for being here!

Sign in with Discord

One tap to sign in - no new password to create or remember. Your account links to the Discord you already use with your teams and communities.

Why Discord first

Gaming already runs on Discord, so it’s the identity you actually use. Signing in with it means less setup for you, and a verified, real person on the other end of every connection. If you ever lose it, we can help you recover to a new Discord.

Your profile and Share Card

Build a profile that speaks for you: a headline and bio, your region and availability, and a card for each game with your rank, role, and hero or character preferences. Not a player? No worries! use the staff notes or General cards to showcase what you're looking for and how you operate. Our biggest iteration of this feature occurred over the last few weeks - fully customizable, drag, drop, resize, delete, make it your own. We're excited to see what you come up with. Most importantly, this is exactly what gets shown in Discord embeds. No need to retype or paste the same wall of text. Share your profile and your card comes with. We will work over the next few weeks to ensure that this embed operates the same across other popular platforms like X/Twitter.

  • Set your status: looking for a team, open to offers, free agent, or not available.
  • Add a card per game with your rank, role, and tier lists.
  • Customize your shareable card and post it on Discord or social.
Why a Share Card

A profile should travel. Your card is a quick, credible introduction where everything a teammate or recruiter needs can be seen at a glance, without you repeating yourself in every message. No need to retype or paste the same wall of text. Share your profile and your card comes with.

Connect your games

Link Twitch, Battle.net, or Steam and we fill in the details for you. Your Twitch following, your World of Warcraft characters and Dota 2 rank. Add your handle once for other platforms and it carries across every game on it, with stat links for 20+ titles including Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, and Rocket League. There's many integrations we want, and many integrations we are actively building, but some of these require us to have scale and proof of user interest - that's where you come in.

Why we lead with integrations

Typing out your whole history is tedious, and self-reported stats are easy to doubt. Pulling from the platforms you already play on makes your profile faster to build and easier to trust.

Find and connect

Search for players, teams, and organizations by game, role, and availability, then send a connection request. Accept the ones that fit and grow your network from there.

Why search, not cold messages

The right teammate is hard to find by luck. Filtering by what actually matters, like game, role, and whether someone is even available, turns a guessing game into a shortlist.

Teams and organizations

Create a team or organization, build out your roster, add staff like coaches and managers, and send invites. Members accept to make it official, and teams can link up with the organizations they’re affiliated with.

Why roster and staff are separate

Real teams aren’t just a list of players. Coaches, managers, analysts and more come together to make things possible. Keeping roster and staff distinct lets a team page reflect how it’s actually organized.

On mobile

proQueue is on your phone, too. Join the iOS beta through TestFlight or the Android beta on the Play Store. If you didn't enroll on sign-up, just find the posts on the dashboard to enroll for your specific device.

What’s coming next

We’re just getting started. A few of the things we’re building:

  • Smarter search: filter by the hours you’re actually free and stack more criteria at once.
  • Team formation: tools to find teammates and assemble a roster from scratch.
  • Richer profiles: highlight reels and clips, not just stats.

Plans can shift, but that’s where our heads are right now.

Tell us what you think

You’re early, and that means your feedback shapes what proQueue becomes. Tell us what’s working and what isn’t anywhere in the app. Find what others are mentioning on the feedback page - we read all of it. Thanks for being here at the start.
