Patch Notes! v1.0.1216
At proQueue we're very excited for the roadmap - this update contains some of the features we've been excited about for a while: portfolio/clips/content right on your profile, that plays in app where possible. Some apps will take you to their native app on mobile, others will open in browser, and most just play right in proQueue.
We also added a new mini-verification for stats. We can't exactly verify stats yet, because we don't have clout with publishers yet (but we will!) for now if you use a game where you fetch stats directly and save them, your stats will show as "fetched" and update automatically. If you choose to self-report, that's an option, but people will trust your fetched stats more.
As always, plenty of small polish improvements and hotfixes. Keep the feedback coming!
Here's everything about this BIG update:
New
Your best clips and screenshots, right on your profile. Build a portfolio of highlights, pull in clips from YouTube, Twitch, Medal and more or upload your own, and arrange them the way you want. For our creators, we have platforms supported like Sketchfab, Behance, or ArtStation.
Kick and YouTube on your profile. Link your Kick channel to show a live badge when you are streaming, give your YouTube channel its own box, and show a mark on Twitch and Kick channels that are linked to their owner's account.
New rank art, character portraits and role icons. Fortnite gets per-division rank badges, Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 get character portraits and tier-list art, and there are fresh role and class icons across games like Dota, Hearthstone and Overwatch.
Live ranks and stats from your linked accounts. Link Battle.net, Steam and more, and your WoW, StarCraft II and Dota 2 ranks and stats fill in automatically, refresh daily, and show a mark that the game account is linked to its owner. You can also add a link so visitors can check a self-reported rank at the source.
Choose how links open. A new setting lets you decide whether outbound links open inside the app or in your browser.
Improved
A cleaner, faster search. Results now lead with the game, show role and status at a glance, read well on a phone, and team and org cards list their openings per game.
A big mobile polish pass. Profiles, the editor, search, settings, connections, the header and the feedback button were all tightened up so nothing spills off the side of a phone.
A refreshed homepage. The sample profiles and search preview read more clearly, the portfolio showcase leads the way, and the copy matches what the app actually does.
Emails got a makeover. Notification and event emails now carry the proQueue look with an animated logo, an easier-to-read palette, and a one-click unsubscribe on every message.
Your Discord details stay private. Profile photos are re-hosted so your Discord id is never exposed on public pages, and you control whether your Discord handle and links are visible.
Smoother sign-ins on mobile. The app keeps you signed in longer and refreshes your session quietly in the background.
A better share card. Share cards now carry CS2 rank badges, tier-list tiles, and an option to show your site text.
Fixed
Large profiles save reliably. A profile with a lot of content no longer looks saved while quietly failing to.
Lots of smaller fixes. We squashed a batch of smaller bugs and tightened up performance, security and stability across the app.
